The Church of Notre-Dame de la Mercy

Some of Charpentier's devotional music was intended for the Mercedarian church of Notre-Dame de la Mercy, situated on the rue du Chaume,  just opposite the Hotel de Guise. Mademoiselle de Guise had a chapel there.
