The Carmel on the rue du Bouloy

Madame de Guise was very close to the Queen and frequently went with her to the Carmelite convent on the rue du Bouloy (or Bouloir). Charpentier composed music for a memorial service held there in December 1683. I have written some Musings about this convent, and I also reproduce, as a "Fugitive Piece," the correspondence of some of the nuns.
